Spanish
Spanish language instruction at St. Barnabas School focuses on exposure to Spanish language and culture. Students attend Spanish class from Pre-School-8th grade, once per week through 5th grade and twice weekly from 6th-8th grade. All students learn basic foreign language concepts for listening, speaking, and comprehension.
As they progress through our program, students have many opportunities to create their own projects based on texts, songs, technology, media and instruction they have received. Our goal is for our students to build a strong foundation of Spanish language and culture that they are able to further build upon in high school, higher education and throughout their lives.
