Media
Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, in order to maximize instructional time and to provide our students with an interdisciplinary learning experience, our Library and Computer classes merged into one Media class. This supports St. Barnabas’s commitment to 21st century learning and offers a more modern, project-based approach to literacy and technology that is better aligned with the high schools and colleges our students will attend.
In Media class, students cover the same objectives they did in our former program: authors, genres, reading, writing, digital citizenship, research, and coding, just to name a few. Objectives will be covered through various hands-on activities. Parents are invited to check for updates on our individual class pages to see what students are working on.
