Volunteering & Parent Involvement
St. Barnabas relies on our parent volunteers to execute many of our special events and activities for students and families throughout the school year. We are fortunate to have a very active and dedicated parent community to support our school, but we are always excited to welcome new parent volunteers into our school community!
The Family School Association (FSA) and the School Board are strong and engaging mechanisms where parents can get involved. There are at least 15 active committees within FSA, and the School Board offers committees on Education, Marketing/Public Relations, Community Involvement, Facilities and Climate/Culture. Parents are encouraged to get involved in any of these opportunities.
For the safety of our students, all volunteers at St. Barnabas School must complete VIRTUS training through the Archdiocese of Chicago. Please complete the steps below to become VIRTUS-trained and maintain your standing. We greatly appreciate you sharing your time and talents with us!
