Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEERING AT ST. BARNABAS - We greatly value the contributions and support of volunteers in creating a vibrant Catholic educational environment and community.  By actively participating in school volunteer activities, we live our root belief, “We are the hands of Christ.”  We ask all parents to find a few areas of interest and become involved throughout the year. Some volunteer opportunities are for coordinating year-long programs, and some are one-time events.  We share many of the opportunities in our weekly school newsletter and will also post on this page and social media.

Many of the volunteer opportunities are led by our auxiliary groups: the Family Support Association (FSA), the Men’s Club, and the Athletic Board. Parents/guardians do not need to be a part of an auxiliary group to volunteer. The FSA and Men’s Club host monthly meetings, and new members are always welcome.

The Archdiocese requires all volunteers to complete annual Virtus training, which can be conducted online. Please reference the Virtus for Volunteers should you need to check your volunteer status or need additional details.
