May Crowning - May 8

May Crowning

Parents, Guests, and Parishioners, please join us -
The procession (weather permitting) from the school’s Main Entry to Church begins shortly after 1:30pm. Parents, Guardians, and extended family members and parishioners are welcome to line the sidewalk surrounding the school grounds beginning at 1:30pm to view the student procession, before proceeding into the Church for the 1:45pm Prayer Service. Guest seating is available throughout the rear pews, behind the students.

2nd Grade Student Attire: First Communion Apparel -
Students should bring their First Communion outfits to school in bags and/or on hangers and will have the opportunity to change prior to the Prayer Service. For students who did not receive First Communion, girls are encouraged to wear white dress clothes, and boys a suit or dress shirt and tie.

8th Grade Student Attire: Dressy Church Apparel -
For girls, a modest, knee-length (or longer) dress (or jumpsuit) in keeping with the reverence of the occasion. Wearing a white dress, as is often a May Crowning tradition, is optional. For boys, suit and tie, or dress shirt and dress pants. 8th Grade students should arrive to school dressed in their May Crowning attire. If preferred, they may wear comfortable shoes during the day and change into dress shoes before the afternoon service. Boys should wear a dress shirt and dress pants to school, and may change into their tie and jacket before the afternoon service.

All Additional Grades -
We ask all other students to dress in their full school uniforms. Please, no gym uniforms or spirit wear.
