Our Patron Saint

KIND, GENEROUS, ENCOURAGING, FORGIVING, AND DETERMINED - Saint Barnabas
are some of the words that are often used to describe Saint Barnabas, a martyr, and apostle of Christ.  We feel privileged to be named in honor of Saint Barnabas, the Son of Encouragement.  We celebrate our patron saint on his feast day, June 11, and turn to him as a role model throughout our daily lives.

COMPASSION & GENEROSITY - Saint Barnabas was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. He sold his land and gave the proceeds to the apostles to help support people experiencing poverty and those in need. He demonstrated that compassion and generosity are essential aspects of Christian life.

PERSEVERANCE & DETERMINATION - Saint Barnabas was not discouraged by the difficulties he faced while spreading the word of God. He was determined to continue spreading the good news and worked tirelessly to help others. He teaches us that, despite our challenges, we should not give up and keep striving to do good in the world.

TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION -  Saint Barnabas worked closely with the apostle Paul and other Christian leaders, demonstrating that working together is essential for achieving our goals. We can emulate St. Barnabas’ example by working with others to improve the world.
