Chaperones
Thank you to the 100+ parents who volunteered for Service Day! Parent chaperones are an integral part of the day, and we appreciate your time and service.
ARRIVAL AND PARKING
Please arrive on Friday, October 2, at 8am in the Church. Start at the volunteer check-in table, and we will sign you in and direct you to your group seating. Due to buses, there is no parking in the lot. If you are driving, please park on the street.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
We invite you to wear St. Barnabas spirit wear or red-and-white apparel. You’re welcome to bring a bagged lunch and eat with the students.
SCHEDULE
All students will attend school from 7:45am to 1:30pm; parent chaperones will have a slightly shorter day. Your site assignment and volunteer shift time are included in the roster attached below.
At the end of the day, Kindergarten - Grade 8 students will gather in the Church for a 12:15pm Service Reflection. Parents are welcome to join in this time of reflection, but it is not required. All students will dismiss from the school at 1:30pm (1:20 for full-day PK).
