Enrollment Application

THANK YOU for your interest in St. Barnabas School. The impact of a St. Barnabas education can be extraordinary, and we are honored you are considering our community for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

Our application has a few components; please be sure to complete all the steps.  Once an application has been finalized, we will begin our holistic review. We are committed to fostering an inclusive community where each person feels a sense of value and belonging. Students are admitted on a rolling basis until we have reached enrollment capacity within each grade. If a grade is at capacity, students may be placed on a waitlist. We aim to notify each family of their enrollment status within two weeks of receiving all steps of their application.
APPLICATION STEPS:

PART 2 - document upload and $100 application fee
Before beginning Part 2 of the application, you'll need a clear and legible scan saved as PDF or image file (png, jpg, jpeg) for each of the the following documents. Phone photos of documents are typically not clear enough. Adobe Scan is a helpful, free app for scanning documents.
- birth certificate
- baptismal certificate (if baptized in the Catholic faith). No need to submit if baptized at St. Barnabas Church
- IEP/Student-Support Plan or 504 Plan (if applicable)
Students applying to grades 2 - 8 will also need to submit:
- Most recent report card
- Most recent standardized test scores (iReady, IAR, etc.)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT - for Grade 2 - 8 applicants
Students seeking enrollment in grades 2 - 8 are asked to spend a school day at St. Barnabas. "Shadowing" at St. Barnabas for the day allows students to experience life as a Buckeye. They will be paired with a student buddy and attend a full day of class. Advance registration for shadowing is required. Please email our Admissions Coordinator, Mrs. Sue Connolly, at [email protected] to arrange a shadow day.  Shadowing is a required component of the application process for students entering grades 2 - 8.
