Student Enrollment Application

The impact of a St. Barnabas education can be extraordinary, and we are honored that you are considering our school community. The first step in the enrollment process is the student enrollment application.  We are now accepting applications for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. If you are interested in learning more about a mid-year transfer for the current 2025-2026 school year, please contact Mrs. Sue Connolly, our Admissions Coordinator, at 773-445-7711.

The Student enrollment application has two parts. Please carefully review and complete the steps outlined below to ensure your application is reviewed in a timely manner.  We aim to notify all families of our admissions decisions within three weeks of receiving their complete application.
PART 1 - Student Enrollment Application >  submit online application

PART 2  - Documentation and Application Fee > submit fee and upload documents
Within part 2, you will submit:
  • $150 application fee
  • birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if applicable), and Student Support/IEP/504 (if applicable)
  • applicants to grades 2 - 8 must also submit their most recent report card and standardized test results
Documents required for upload must be submitted as legible scanned PDF files. Phone photos of documents are NOT permitted. If you prefer to submit your documents as a hard copy, please complete the demographic and payment components within the form, then stop by the Main Office (Monday-Friday 7:30am - 3pm), and we can make copies for you. Your application is not complete until all documents and the application fee are received.

STUDENTS APPLYING TO GRADES 2 - 8 > additional requirement
Shadow Day: As part of the application process, students seeking enrollment in grades 2 - 8 are asked to spend a school day at St. Barnabas. "Shadowing" at St. Barnabas for the day gives students a chance to experience life as a Buckeye. They will be paired with a student buddy and attend a full day of class. Advance registration for shadowing is required. Please email our Admissions Coordinator, Mrs. Sue Connolly, at [email protected] to arrange a shadow day for your child

Once all components of the application have been submitted, we will begin our holistic review. We are committed to fostering an inclusive community where each person feels a sense of value and belonging. Students are admitted on a rolling basis until we reach enrollment capacity in each grade. If a grade is at capacity, students may be placed on a waitlist. We aim to notify each family of their enrollment status within three weeks of receiving their complete application.
