Extended Day

THE EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM is an additional school service that provides Before and After school child care for St. Barnabas School students.
  • BEFORE CARE is available from 6:30am - 7:45am, student must arrive by 7:35am
  • AFTER CARE is available from 3pm - 6pm.  After Care is NOT available on 10:50 and 11:50am half-day dismissals.

ENROLLMENT & FEES
REGISTRATION - Advance registration for the St. Barnabas Extended Day Program is required for all students who plan to participate in Before or After Care.  Enrollment is accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year. The non-refundable enrollment fee and hourly service fees will be included in the FACTS Tuition Management account.  The program is an extension of St. Barnabas School and, as such, will follow the disciplinary procedures outlined in the St. Barnabas Parent-Student Handbook. ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE:
Before Care = $25 per child
After Care = $40 per child
 
HOURLY RATE PER DAY: $7.50  for one child, $3.75 for each additional sibling.

EXTENDED DAY ATTENDANCE- To help us schedule staff for Extended Day and ensure your child knows whether and when they should attend After Care, please complete the Extended Day Attendance Form. If your child's schedule doesn't change weekly, you only need to fill this out once per trimester. Extended Day Attendance.

EXTENDED DAY - DROP OFF & PICK UP
Please utilize the “side gym doors” on the south end of the building, adjacent to the parking lot. For safety, the doors are locked at all times. Call or text Extended Day at 773-474-6474 at morning drop-off and after-school pick-up, and a staff member will assist you.
 
Only individuals designated and approved on the Extended Day Enrollment forms may pick up the student.  If it is necessary for someone else not previously listed to pick up the student, please email the Extended Day Program in advance at [email protected]rg
