Spirit Day
Friday, May 22, is Spirit Day - one of the best days of the year for our St. Barnabas students!! It's an 11:50am dismissal leading into the long Memorial Day weekend, and After Care is not available. The school parking lot is closed for Spirit Day; there is no parking lot access at drop-off or pickup. If possible, please walk to school. If driving, please park on the surrounding streets.

We're looking for brave parents to join our staff and 8th graders in the dunk tank!
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
The day takes place predominantly outdoors, please dress for the weather and outdoor, active play.
- TOPS - As is tradition, each grade will wear a specific color. For those who purchased shirts, orders will be sent home in time for Spirit Day. Online orders have closed, but all students are encouraged to wear a shirt from home that reflects their grade's color.
- BOTTOMS - Any comfortable, school-appropriate bottoms are fine - shorts, athletic pants, etc.
- SHOES - Students should wear comfortable gym shoes (no open-toe shoes or sandals).
- WATER BOTTLE - It's a busy and active day, please have all students bring a water bottle labeled with their name.
Shirt colors for each grade: Preschool - Red, Kindergarten - Royal Blue, Grade 1 - Green, Grade 2 - Pink, Grade 3 - Yellow, Grade 4 - Maroon, Grade 5 - Orange, Grade 6 - Light Blue, Grade 7 - Dark Purple, Grade 8 - Light Green
VOLUNTEERSpirit Day is made possible by the thoughtful energy of our volunteers! It's a day entirely run by parent volunteers, and we simply could not do it without you.
Volunteers are needed to guide students through activities, keep the energy up, and make sure everyone has a great time. To ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible, please only sign up if you’re confident you can attend the entire day (7:45-11:50). Each station depends on having a volunteer present, and we greatly appreciate your reliability and support.
