Summer Academic Enrichment

Summer

Summer is the perfect time to relax and unwind. It is also a beneficial time to participate in academic enrichment to retain the skills, knowledge, and content mastered in this past school year. Here, you'll find summer resources to help prepare your child for the upcoming school year and prevent a summer learning slide.

READING
Grab a book, relax, and read! Under a tree, on the beach, poolside, or cozy inside - we hope each student will get lost in the joy of books this summer. Reading daily offers countless benefits; make it part of your household routine! Discover your favorite book at the library, a local bookstore, or a recommendation from a friend or sibling. Check out the list of suggestions from our teachers!

MATH
The summer math packets, outlined below, will help students be better prepared and ready to succeed in their next math course. If you wish to stop by the school's Main Office for a printed copy, visit us Tuesday-Thursday from 9am - 12pm.

The packets linked are for the students' rising grade level for the 2025-2026 school year.

Math fact mastery (or fluency) is essential for building a strong foundation in math. All students should continue to practice their addition and subtraction facts. Additionally, students in Grades 4-8 should also practice their multiplication and division facts. Students can use flash cards, math manipulatives, board games, and apps to practice these math skills.
