Traveling by Car

STUDENT SAFETY is our top priority, and we rely on parents and caregivers to practice care during arrival and dismissal. Please carefully review the options for utilizing the parking, quick drop, or street parking.

UTILIZING THE PARKING LOT

During arrival and dismissal, the Longwood Drive parking entrance is closed. All cars should enter from Walden.

Parking on the east (school) side of Longwood is prohibited during the school day.

MORNING DROP-OFF LANE: Enter the parking lot at the farthest north lane (closest to the gym). Students should efficiently and independently exit the vehicle near the front of the school. Vehicles should then slowly exit onto Walden from the far south lane (closest to the Early Childhood Building).

PARKING IN THE LOT (Morning or Afternoon): Enter the parking lot from Walden (east of the school, along the train line). Parked cars should remain on the east side of the lot. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to escort students to and from the front of the building. Acting with care and caution, older students may exit or enter the parking lot independently. Everyone should utilize the yellow designated walking lanes. Vehicles should exit the parking lot at the far south lane (closest to the Early Childhood Building).

QUICK DROP - 101st STREET
101st Street doors (north side of the school), is for quick drop-off/no lingering. This is a condensed, high-traffic area, and "Quick Drop” is only recommended for older students who can exit the vehicle efficiently and without adult assistance. Parents/caregivers may not exit their vehicles at this drop-off point to assist with seat buckles, backpacks, etc. Please be mindful of traffic back-ups that can occur on this street due to pedestrian, train, and Longwood traffic, which may lead to student tardiness.
Parking vehicles and utilizing 101st Street between Longwood & Walden as a meeting destination is prohibited; this street is only available for quick drop in the morning.

OPTIONS FOR STREET PARKING
No parking on the east (school side) of Longwood Drive
101st Place (south of the Church) or the west side of Longwood Drive (near the Church & Rectory) are often available for street parking. If choosing either of these locations, students must use the designated Longwood crossing guards. Crossing in the middle of Longwood is forbidden.

For safety and traffic efficiency, cars are not permitted to park or stop and quickly drop-off anywhere along the east "school side" of Longwood Drive from 100th - 102nd St.
