Register for Soccer
St. Barnabas offers two co-ed soccer programs in the fall season. Preschool - Kindergarten students are invited to participate in our casual Saturday morning "Coffee League". Grade 1 - 8 students are invited to participate in "League Soccer," which includes weekly practice and games.
Preschool - Kindergarten "Coffee League"
Saturday Soccer is our in-house "Coffee" League for beginner players. The aim of the program is to introduce kids to soccer if they have never kicked a soccer ball, or to help develop skills for those who might have taken a camp or two in their early years. For parents, it is a great place to meet other St. Barnabas parents. Parents are somewhat involved in these sessions, either as a season team leader or a "coach" for some weeks. No soccer experience is needed, just a bit of patience. It is VERY informal, but a lot of fun.
- Season: Saturday, August 29 - early October, weather dependent.
- Sessions: One-hour Saturday sessions, with morning start times (typically at 8:30am or 9:30am)
- Fee: $25 - includes uniform t-shirt
- Register for Coffee League Soccer by the first week of school.
Grades 1 - Grade 4
Co-Ed teams will be divided into Grades 1 - 2 and Grades 3 - 4
- Season: Mid-August through mid-October (no playoffs)
- Practice: practice begins the first week of school.
- Games: Approximately 10 games. Grade 1 - 2 games will be held on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday mornings. Grade 3 - 4 games held on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings.
- Fee: $65 + players can use their previous year's jersey or purchase a new one for $10.
- Register for Fall Soccer by August 1, 2026.
Grades 5 - 8
Co-Ed teams will be divided into JV (Grades 5 - 6) and Varsity (Grades 7- 8)
- Season: Mid-August through late-October
- Practice: Practices begin the week before school starts, likely the week of August 10th
- Games: Games begin after Labor Day. 6 - 7 regular season games, followed by a short playoff series.
- Fee: $65 + players can use their previous year's GRAY jersey or purchase a new one for $15. Note to rising 5th graders: the white jerseys worn in the Grade 1 - 4 league cannot be used.
- Register for Fall Soccer by August 1, 2026.
