STAY CONNECTED

Our Administrative Office is open throughout the summer: Tuesday - Thursday from 9am - 12pm. Contact the school's Main Office at 773-445-7711 to schedule an appointment to meet with a member of our Administrative team. Our teachers are off throughout the summer. If you have an urgent question for one of our teachers, please contact Ms. Grace Sadowski.

If you’re on Facebook, make sure to join the group St. Barnabas School Buckeyes . This is a private forum for parents/guardians of current school families only. All members are welcome and encouraged to ask questions, respond to inquiries, and share information. The page administrators are school staff who respond in a timely and accurate manner. Tuition [payments begin in July]

TUITION

TUITION and incidental billings are paid online through FACTS Tuition Management beginning in July.

All families should have received an email from FACTS with information on setting up their payment plan. Enrolling in a FACTS payment plan allows you to select a payment schedule that best suits your financial needs. Medical Forms [required medical forms are due August 16]

MEDICAL FORMS for the upcoming school year are due Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Please be sure to book all medical appointments (sports physicals/wellness, dental, and vision) in a timely manner this summer so you are prepared for the start of the school year.

The Illinois State Board of Education requires medical documentation for all students in Illinois. Students who do not have proper medical documentation on file for the 2026-2027 school year may be excluded from school. Forms may be turned in on August 16 at Information Sunday or mailed/hand-delivered to the school throughout the summer. (If delivering in person, please note the Main Office will be staffed Tuesday - Thursday, 9am - 12pm.

ALL students who play sports at St. Barnabas, including Preschool and Kindergarten students in soccer or flag football, must have an annual sports physical or medical form (that authorizes sports participation).

Students in Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 2, Grade 6, and ALL students transferring into Grades 1 - 8 have additional medical documentation requirements.

Students with additional medical needs (in-school medication, allergies, asthma, and seizure disorders) have additional forms that must be submitted on an annual basis.

School Uniforms [and our Summer Uniform Exchange]

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

All students (Preschool - Grade 8) wear a daily school uniform. The complete uniform guide can be found here.

Purchasing uniforms - plaid jumpers, skirts, and gym uniforms are available for purchase at Schools Are Us - 3146 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655. SB crewneck and quarter-zips sweatshirts that can be worn with regular uniforms may be purchased online at the St. Barnabas School Buckeye Shop. All other items, including uniform-style navy pants/shorts and collared shirts, may be purchased at any retailer, such as Target, Old Navy, or Land's End.

Uniform exchange - Please consider donating clean, gently used uniform items that no longer fit your household to our Uniform Exchange. Items may be dropped off at the School’s Main Entrance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9am - 12pm, during the month of June. Later this summer, we will share details on how you can "shop" the free uniform exchange. Browse gently used uniforms, gym clothes, and spirit wear for the upcoming school year.

School Supplies [bring to school on August 16]

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

We ask students to start each school year with a specific list of supplies. Supplies for the year should be brought to school on August 16 - Information Sunday. Families may opt to buy their supplies at any retailer they choose. For your convenience, you can order online through EPI School Supplies for delivery to home.

Information Sunday - August 16 [required event]

INFORMATION SUNDAY - Sunday, August 16, 10am
Information Sunday is the kickoff of the school year. Join us for the 10am mass, then visit the school from 11:30am - 1pm for all the 2026-2027 school year details. Receive homeroom teacher assignments, turn in all medical forms, drop off school supplies, enjoy a teacher meet and greet, and more.

Information Sunday is a required event. If your family is unable to attend school between 11:30am and 1pm, please contact Mrs. Sue Connolly at 773-445-7711 or [email protected] to arrange for homeroom assignment and Big Bucks Raffle tickets pick-up.
