St. Barnabas School Recognizes the Achievements of the Class of 2026
St. Barnabas School is proud to recognize its 100th graduating class. The 58 accomplished graduates of the Class of 2026 will expand their horizons at 11 different high schools: Air Force Academy, Brother Rice, Culver Academies, Evergreen Park, Marian Catholic, Marist, Mother McAuley, Mount Carmel, St. Ignatius, St. Laurence, and St. Rita. The class has received a notable 60 scholarships from their respective high schools.
On Wednesday, May 27, we welcomed the 8th-grade students, parents, and guardians to a reception and Honors Celebration. This evening recognized student participation across a range of school clubs, sports, and activities, and awarded students who have demonstrated exemplary achievement during their time at St. Barnabas School.
SCHOLARSHIP RECOGNITION
The parish and school auxiliary groups, along with the school administration, proudly presented scholarship awards to students who have demonstrated remarkable accomplishments.

The St. Barnabas Award, presented to one student, is our highest honor. This student has consistently lived out our Root Beliefs, modeling faith, kindness, empathy, inclusivity, and commitment to academics.

Scholarship awards are presented to one boy and one girl. Recipients are students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and courage during their time at St. Barnabas.

Scholarship awards are presented to three students in recognition of their exemplary work on the Men’s Club Essay Contest detailing what their faith means to them and the impact of a Catholic education.

Buckeye athletes were recognized for their significant impact on our athletic community.
MVP Awards were presented for overall performance, competitive excellence, and contribution to team success throughout the season. The following student-athletes were recognized as MVPs: Cedrick Cerant (Boys Basketball), Lilly Hurd (Girls Basketball), Audrey Lunkes (Cheer), Quinn Griffin (Flag Football), Charlie McCarihan (Football), Nate Burke (Golf and Soccer), Finn McNerney (Boys Volleyball), and Julia O'Keefe (Girls Volleyball).
Coach's Awards were presented to student-athletes who exhibited outstanding character, dedication, and leadership. The award is presented to one athlete per team: Nate Burke and Finn McNerney (Boys Basketball), Giovanna Barraco and Mae Krieter (Girls Basketball), Erin Miles (Cheer), Nora Murrihy and Mae Kreiter (Flag Football), Jacob Pearson (Football), Audrey Lunkes and Jimmy Marzano (Golf), Grace McGrath and Caleb O'Kelly (Soccer), Jimmy Marzano (Boys Volleyball), Erin Miles, Sasha Chatz, and Chloe Bojan (Girls Volleyball).
