Register for Service Day 2025

STUDENT & CHAPERONE Registration for Service Day
On this page, you'll find a description of the Service Day 2025 projects for all grades, along with links to register for each project. The online registration serves as your permission and also provides an opportunity to sign up to chaperone. Prompt registration is encouraged, and registration for each student and chaperone is due no later than September 8.

PRESCHOOL - GRADE 3: Students in grades Preschool - Grade 3 will remain at school for Service Day.  Students will work alongside their teachers and parent chaperones and participate in the same service activity as their classmates. If you create a registration in error, please email [email protected] to request a correction.

GRADES 4 - 8: Students will travel via school bus to an off-campus service opportunity. Please select the service activity that best aligns with the interests of your child. Sites for Grades 4 - 8 have a limited number of volunteer spots available. Once a service site has reached its maximum student capacity, you will need to select from another available opportunity. Due to bus/site capacity, we cannot add more participants to a site that has reached capacity. Please do not register grade 4 - 8 students for multiple sites. If a student is accidentally registered at more than one site, only the first response will be accepted. If you create a registration in error, please email [email protected] to request a correction.

FEE: The Service Day fee is $12 per student and will be added as an incidental expense to the tuition of all full-time students.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS: Service Day is a school-wide initiative and is a required attendance day. It is strongly recommended that families avoid a planned absence due to travel, appointments, etc. If your child cannot attend, please complete a form for EACH child. Complete the non-attending student registration form

CHAPERONES: Parents/Guardians are welcome to participate as volunteer chaperones at Service Day. When registering your child, there will be an option to indicate you wish to volunteer.  If you have multiple children at St. Barnabas, please volunteer at only ONE service site. All chaperones must be compliant with their required Virtus training, no later than Friday, September 19. The Chaperone registration due date of September 8 has now passed, and we are no longer accepting parent-chaperones.
