Service Day Registration

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR OUR MAY 17 SERVICE DAY
Registration is due for all students by Friday, April 12

WHY WE SERVE - We believe the best way to learn our Root Beliefs is to live them, and Service Day is the perfect way to live out our belief that “We are the hands of Christ.”  We ask all students to participate in our Service Day on Friday, May 17. The day is a required attendance day, with an 11:50am dismissal (11:40am for Preschool). Over 600 students, staff, and parent volunteers gather to help others on this day. It is a remarkable and inspiring day.

REGISTRATION - Families are required to complete an individual online registration for each child by Friday, April 12. The online registration serves as your permission, payment collection, and the opportunity to sign up to chaperone.
  • Preschool - Grade 3 will participate in the same service opportunity as the rest of their grade.
  • Grades 4 - 8 will select from various off-campus opportunities. Each service site has limited spots available. Once a service site has reached its maximum volunteer capacity, you will need to select from one of the other opportunities we offer. Due to bus/site capacity, we cannot add more registrations to a site that has reached capacity.

REGISTERING MORE THAN ONE CHILD -  You will need to complete a separate online registration form (and payment) for each child in your family participating in Service Day. We recognize that this might feel cumbersome for families with 3 - 5 children, and we appreciate your understanding.

PAYMENTS FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS - The $12 fee helps us cover most of the bus fees and supplies/site contributions for the day. When registering, you’ll be prompted to pay via credit card or select an option to send cash/check to school. We prefer all families pay via credit card, but if cash/check suits your family better, please send it to school by April 12. Please Note: you will need to complete a separate registration (and credit card transaction) for each child in your household.
There is not a fee for chaperones, only students.
